In addition to everything people already do to make the world a better place, I would encourage all of you to call your local senators and members of congress about the need for non-violence, not nuking Iran, impeaching President Bush, etc… the toll free # is 1-888-elk-FLUT (1-888-355-3588).  This one number gets you to a live operator and from there s/he can put you thru to any of the 535 members of the house and the senate.  If you put this # into your cell phone (it will be right at your fingertips) either in the phone book or on speed dial so as you listen to Democracy Now, Air America, NPR etc… you can immediately call and voice your opinion.  It's not everything, but it really does help. 

Politics is about those who care the most and if one group cares more about greed, violence, oppresion, and war then the other group cares about peace, good jobs, good government, good foreign policy, being environmentally intelligent, children, people, etc…  then greed wins, but it doesn't have to.  It really is, up to me, you, all of us, to all do what we can, and go the distance.
